30 - The End

The video above is my "goodbye song" for this blog.

As with all good things, I believe that the "life of this blog" has come to an end. The time has finally come for me to start packing my bags and start blogging elsewhere. To tell you all the truth, when I made this blog, it was originally titled "Just One Yesterday" (named after Fall Out Boy's song) as you can see from this earlier screenshot of my Blogger Dashboard.

The reason behind the name was that I was having trouble adjusting to my new college life, and that I missed my high school days. Because, actually, the central topic of this blog was supposed to be how high school is better than college. That was the case at first; however, I soon realized that college is actually far better than high school. I spent a few days coming up with a new title for this blog, and since it was around July (my "improve everything" phase), I decided to name this blog "A Better Tomorrow" and the name stuck for a while. When my English term was about to come to an end, I decided to (once again) change the name of this blog. I had a few ideas on what the final blog title of this blog was going to be, and then I decided that it would be named "Memoir of an Undergrad" and the name stuck.

Going back, this blog had a very small beginning—with only 71 pageviews in its first week (which is not much). Now, it currently has around 1,400 pageviews (I will make a pageview widget soon to verify this claim). Not bad for an obscure blog that was made for the English Enrichment Program at some college. This blog has been viewed countless of times by my blockmates, my professors, and by other faculty members (and also by other people from the Internet). Although, this is just a small number compared to my original blog, which currently has over 36,000 pageviews.

Nevertheless, the English Enrichment Program and my all-English term has drawn to a close and it is now time to pack my bags and blog elsewhere. This blog has fulfilled its purpose and it is time to archive this blog. Oh, and when I said "archive" I meant that I will not post on this blog anymore. As I have said before, I will start blogging at A Better Tomorrow, and I will not post the link of my original blog. My original blog must not be known as it holds secrets and posts far too dark for anyone to see. Some things are best kept as a secret not known by many.

But anyway, this blog kind of reminds me of myself—starting out small and clumsily in the beginning only to slowly improve over time. I still have a long way to go, as my college life has just begun, and the same goes for this blog. Whether or not it will be shown to students taking the next English Enrichment Program is none of my business, but if it were to be chosen, it would be such an honor.

With around 30 blog posts (twice that of the required blog posts for the English Enrichment Program), it is now time to finalize and archive this blog.

My all-English term was great, and I sincerely would like to thank all of my professors—Miss Mina, Sir Fruto, Ma'am Ceres, Miss Minglana, Atty. Paul, Sir Deeno, Sir Dustin, and Miss Eliz—all of whom have contributed a large part in making my first term at Asia Pacific College the best and possibly the best term of my life. I will miss the term itself, but, as some people say, "Life must go on." It is time to bid farewell to this blog and focus on what really matters: the road to a brighter tomorrow.

I hope you all had fun reading my stories and other stuff that I have posted here, it was nice giving you all a tour of my first term at Asia Pacific College.

Time to bid you all adieu. Until next time :^)
