19 - GRAMCOM Mondays

Wow, my GRAMCOM classes are surely the best! I mean, if I had to choose between three of my favorite classes for this term—Public Speaking 1, Public Speaking 2, GRAMCOM—it would (most obviously) be my GRAMCOM class.

Wait a second, what makes my GRAMCOM classes so great anyway? I mean, to you, it might seem like your ordinary "boring" English class, but for me, it is EVERYTHING. (Well, not literally everything, but it is like the "heart and soul" of this English term.) Think about it, without proper grammar, you would not be able to understand what I have written on this blog. Without proper grammar, this blog would look very unprofessional—meaning that, whatever is in here, will be discredited.

But the subject of English Grammar and Composition Development is not enough to make me say that the subject is the best. What really makes this subject great is my professor.

My professor in GRAMCOM is not a tough one, my professor is (like a) happy-go-lucky person. I like to think of my professor as this: an extremely talented chef who knows how to make even the most plain and boring dish into the "culinary thrill ride of your life." My professor turned this (seemingly boring) subject into the best, most fun, and most exciting subject of my life.

My professor changed me so much, it made me look forward to Mondays. Mondays—the most disgusting day of the week; the day everyone hates the most. My professor single-handedly made me want to wake up on a Monday morning, put on my best and freshly-pressed corporate attire, and head straight to Asia Pacific College with a warm and welcoming smile. That is how much my professor and my GRAMCOM class has changed me.

I wish my GRAMCOM classes will never end. Ah, I wish I would have a GRAMCOM 2 class next term (with the same professor, of course), but that is highly unlikely to happen. Oh well, I might as well enjoy my GRAMCOM classes until the end.
